Join us for our annual Cyber Smart Week campaign from 21-27 October 2024.
Around half of all New Zealanders experience a cybercrime within a six-month period, ranging from scam phone calls and phishing to online shopping scams and extortion.
The good news is that more New Zealanders are taking steps to keep themselves secure online, but there is still work to do.
This year’s campaign will continue to raise the importance of being secure online, with a focus on encouraging New Zealander’s and small and medium businesses and organisations to adopt two-factor authentication and maintain strong password practices.
